Winter session of Odisha Assembly to begin from Nov 24

BHUBANESWAR, NOV. 4: The winter session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin on November 24, the parliamentary affairs department said.
“In exercise of the powers conferred on me by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India, I hereby summon the Eleventh Session of the Sixteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly to meet at 11.00 A.M. on 24th November, 2022 in the Assembly Building at Bhubaneswar,” Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal said.
As per the provisional calendar of sittings, the winter session of the State Assembly will continue till December 31.
The session will have 33 working days.
On the first day of the session, the first supplementary statement of expenditure for the year 2022-23 will be presented.
Similarly, Private Members’ Business (Bills and Resolutions) will be tabled on November 25, December 9, December 16, December 23 December 28 and December 30.
