World Environment Day observed at UltraTech Cuttack Works

Bhubaneswar, June 5: The World Environment Day was observed at the Cuttack unit of UltraTech Cements Works today in the midst of the senior management and the employees of the company.
The Project Head Mr Dinesh Gupta and the Unit Head Mr Purushottam graced the occasion as the Chief Guests and deliberated upon the theme of the day.
They appealed all present over there to say “No to Plastic” and suggested different ways to provide a remedy to plastic solution. They also deliberated upon the ways of checking the plastic pollution likr collection of Plastic waste, separation of those plastic wastes and recycling of those plastic wastes.
They also stressed upon how small step by each individual will lead to a big step collectively to check this plastic pollution. In this context of World Environment Day observance one quiz competition was held amongst the emotional and the drawing and slogan competition amongst the children and one plantation drive was organized by the company. The entire programme was well coordinated by the UltraTech Cuttack Cements Works Environment Department official Mr Manoranan Saa.
