Berhampur, Sept.26:To mark World Heart Day (29th September), Utkal Hospital, Bhubaneswar, in association with the Students of MKCG Medical College & Hospital, Berhampur, organized a Walkathon today with the theme “Don’t Miss a Beat.”

Over 200 students, faculty members, and doctors joined the event, which was flagged off by Mr.B.K. Subodh Singh, CEO, Utkal Hospital, Dr. Sushant Pradhan, Sr. Consultant – Cardiology, Dr. Chandravanu Parija, Sr. Consultant – CTVS, Prof. Dr. J. Sagar Prusty, and Asso. Prof. Dr. Sarada Prasanna Sahoo, CTVS MKCG MCH.

Mr Singh emphasized the role of preventive heart care through adequate physical activity for improved cardio vascular health. He said with the changing landscape, Utkal Hospital is advancing in Heart Care with its expert team of Doctors using the Technology platform for better outcomes..Dr. sushant sahoo and Dr. Parija highlighted the need for lifestyle modification and preventive care to reduce the rising burden of heart diseases.

The initiative reflects Utkal Hospital’s commitment to promoting heart health and creating community awareness.
