Durga Puja is much more than a religious occasion marked by rituals, decorations and festivities; it is a celebration of the eternal triumph of good over evil, truth over falsehood and righteousness over injustice. The image of Maa Durga, with her divine strength and compassionate presence, inspires millions to overcome fear, face challenges with determination and remain committed to the path of truth. Maintaining law and order is not solely the responsibility of the police; it is a shared duty that requires awareness, discipline and mutual respect. Citizens should follow traffic regulations, avoid drunk driving, cooperate with security personnel and respect restrictions imposed for public safety. Organisers should make appropriate arrangements for crowd management, emergency access, fire safety and the assistance of senior citizens, children and persons with disabilities. Devotees should remain alert in crowded places and promptly inform the authorities about suspicious activity or emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Equally important is the need to preserve communal harmony. In the age of social media, unverified messages, misleading videos and provocative posts can spread rapidly and create unnecessary tension. Everyone must exercise restraint before forwarding information and rely on verified sources rather than rumours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
