Keonjhar, May 6: Politicians always try to inculcate good relationship with journalists. The aim of politicians and journalists is one \u2013 social service.<\/p>\n
Journalists perform their duties on a mission. They never look for their own comforts but take pains bring cheers on the face of the needy and destitute.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn order to build a greater nation, the journalists and politicians must work together. Political institutions and media organizations should work towards achieving excellences in their respective fields so that rapid progress can be achieved,\u201d the minister said while addressing the 5th<\/sup> Annual Executive Body Conference of the Odisha Union of Journaists (OUJ) and 35th<\/sup> Annual Convention of Keonjhar District Union of Journalists here at Utsav Palace.<\/p>\n Stating that institutional excellence is the dire need of the hour, the minister called upon the journalists to perform to the best of the capability.<\/p>\n Mr Behera assured the journalists to take steps towards facilitating various welfare measures for the journalists.<\/p>\n On the demand for completion of enumeration of journalists and extending insurance cover for journalists, the minister said he would take up the matter with the information and public relations minister Pratap Jena.<\/p>\n \u201cI will take up all your demands with the information and public relations department as your representative.
