Malkangiri, 17\/09\/24: A preparatory meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Collector Ashish Ishwar Patil in the Zilla Parishad conference room to organize a three-day development fair at DNK Playground, Malkangiri. The fair, scheduled from September 22 to 24, aims to raise public awareness about government welfare initiatives and bring the administration closer to the people. The event is being organized by Ormas, with CDO cum EO Naresh Chandra Shabar and other senior officials, including ADM Somnath Pradhan and Addl. SP Tapan Narayan Rath, in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Social Security and Empowerment Minister Nityananda Gond will inaugurate the fair on September 22. The event will showcase the district’s development efforts through exhibitions from various departments, including agriculture and tourism. Cultural programs highlighting folk art from all blocks of the district will also be featured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting covered logistical arrangements, such as transportation, sanitation, law enforcement, and fire safety. Twenty-five stalls will be set up to showcase major government schemes, and daily cultural performances will be organized by the District Culture Department. The fair\u2019s duration may be extended based on public demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
