NEW DELHI, NOV 17 : Denmark celebrated a historic win at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant as 21-year-old Victoria Kjaer Theilvig was crowned the new queen, marking the country\u2019s first-ever victory at the prestigious event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kjaer\u2019s stunning performance and poised answers left a mark on the judges, securing her the coveted crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mexico\u2019s Maria Fernanda Beltran finished as the runner-up, while Nigeria\u2019s Cnidimma Adetshina took the second runner-up position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Victoria is a 21-year-old Danish entrepreneur, dancer, and beauty queen. She made history as the first person from Denmark to win the Miss Universe title. Born and raised in Denmark, Victoria also has a degree in business and marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria started competing in beauty pageants with Miss Denmark. She gained global attention in 2022 when she made the top 20 in Miss Grand International. Nicknamed the “Human Barbie” for her resemblance to the doll, Victoria became a fan favourite. She was crowned Miss Universe Denmark in September 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The top 12, dominated by Latin American contestants, moved forward to the evening gown round. As the competition heated up in Mexico, five contestants emerged as the frontrunners: Denmark, Mexico, Nigeria, Thailand, and Venezuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The finalists were put to the test with a series of random questions designed to gauge their analytical skills and ability to articulate thoughtful responses under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
India\u2019s Rhea Singha also participated in the event. Despite her impressive run in the preliminary rounds, where she showcased her elegance, Singha couldn\u2019t secure a spot among the final 12 contestants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rhea Singha, at just 19 years old, had made history earlier by clinching the title of Miss Universe India 2024. Hailing from Gujarat, Singha\u2019s journey included winning titles like Miss Teen Earth 2023, and Diva\u2019s Miss Teen Gujarat 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
