This strategic venture aligns with the Odisha government&#8217;s vision to attract industrial investments and strengthen the textile and apparel sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The groundbreaking ceremony saw the participation of senior officials from the Odisha government, Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO), and Industrial Promotion &amp; Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICO), along with the leadership team from MAS Holdings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Set to become operational in 2026, the first production unit at MAS Apparel Park will focus on manufacturing high-value apparel for both domestic and international markets. This initiative underscores MAS Holdings&#8217; commitment to catering to India\u2019s growing apparel demand while leveraging its global industry expertise.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration, Malik Ahamadeen, CEO of MAS India, stated, \u201cWe are excited to partner with the Odisha government in building a vibrant apparel ecosystem. Our objective is to advance the textile industry while generating employment and contributing to the region\u2019s economic prosperity.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suren Fernando, Group CEO of MAS Holdings, highlighted the strategic importance of this investment, saying, \u201cThis is a pivotal moment in MAS\u2019 journey. With over 25 years of operational experience in India, we recognize the immense potential of the country\u2019s manufacturing sector, which supports both global supply chains and the expanding domestic retail market.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spanning 60 acres, the MAS Apparel Park is designed as an integrated manufacturing hub, drawing inspiration from MAS\u2019s successful apparel parks in Sri Lanka. The facility aims to attract industry partners, fostering a comprehensive supply chain that boosts speed and cost efficiency.
