Paradip, March 18:<\/strong> PPA on March 18 proudly celebrated International Women’s Day, honoring the invaluable contributions of women across all departments and highlighting the port’s commitment to gender equality and empowerment. Dy. Chairman, Shri Nilabhra Dasgupta attended the program as Chief Guest & addressing the gathering, he emphasized the critical role women play in the port’s operations, and overall well-being of the society. Capt. A.C. Sahoo, Secretary  & Coordinator, Working Women\u2019s Cell, PPA, Smt. Swarnamayee Tripathy, Sr. Research Fellow, ICSSR & Gender Expert, Smt. Tapasi Praharaj, social activist were Guests of Honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of today’s event – “For ALL women and girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment”, underscored the port’s dedication to creat a diverse and inclusive workplace where women can thrive. Smt. Susmita Samal, Chairperson, Working Women Cell, PPA gave the welcome speech & Smt. Supriti Barik, H.A. offered vote of thanks. Dy.
