Continuous rainfall has led to waterlogging and swampy terrain, increasing the risk of accidents, including encounters with poisonous reptiles. Despite these difficulties, TPNODL teams are on the ground, carrying electric poles, wires, and critical equipment to restore electricity in affected areas. In locations submerged by floodwaters, the power supply is being strategically disconnected as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety. Once conditions stabilize, restoration is undertaken on a war footing to resume normalcy as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While TPNODL remains committed to delivering quality and uninterrupted power supply, it is equally focused on safeguarding the lives of both its employees and consumers. The company has urged all consumers to take essential precautions during the ongoing flood situation. In particular, it advises switching off the main power supply in case of water leakage in meter cabins, avoiding contact with electrical setups using wet hands, and ensuring that any wiring alterations are carried out only by licensed electricians. Consumers are also requested not to overload their electrical systems, refrain from driving vehicles over electric cables that may be lying on the ground, and immediately report any sparking observed in streetlights or electric poles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TPNODL appeals to the public to remain alert and cooperate by following these safety guidelines.
