{"id":144042,"date":"2025-10-11T00:08:56","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T18:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indusvalleytimes.com\/news\/?p=144042"},"modified":"2025-10-11T00:12:35","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T18:42:35","slug":"paradip-port-recognized-as-green-hydrogen-hub-under-national-green-hydrogen-mission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indusvalleytimes.com\/news\/paradip-port-recognized-as-green-hydrogen-hub-under-national-green-hydrogen-mission\/","title":{"rendered":"Paradip Port Recognized as Green Hydrogen Hub under National Green Hydrogen Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"caps\"><strong>By Payal Banarjee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Paradip, Oct. 10 :<\/strong> Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has been officially recognized as a Green Hydrogen Hub under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) of the Government of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradip Port Authority is now designated as a Green Hydrogen Hub, positioning it at the forefront of India\u2019s clean energy and decarbonization efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recognition comes under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) guidelines, enabling projects in the hub to access incentives and benefits from Central and State Government schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Hydrogen Hubs serve as integrated centers for hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and end-use applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradip Port\u2019s strategic location and existing infrastructure make it ideal for supporting large-scale hydrogen production and export.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative aligns with the National Green Hydrogen Mission\u2019s goal to make India a global hub for Green Hydrogen production, utilization, and export.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradip Port will contribute to India\u2019s sustainable growth, clean energy adoption, and maritime-led economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking on the recognition, Shri P. L. Haranadh, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority, said, \u201cWe are honored to be recognized as a Green Hydrogen Hub. Paradip Port will leverage its infrastructure and strategic location to support the nation\u2019s clean energy transition and contribute to India\u2019s decarbonization
