NEW DELHI, OCT 19 : Actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The couple announced the happy news on Chhoti Diwali via a joint social media post, with the caption, “Arms full, our hearts are fuller.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The couple’s Instagram post read, “He\u2019s finally here!…our Baby Boy…And we literally can\u2019t remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything..With gratitude, Parineeti and Raghav…(sic).”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Celebrities poured in congratulations for the new parents. Actor Kriti Sanon commented on the post,”Congratulations (heart emojis)…(sic).” Designer Manish Malhotra wrote, “Congratulations….(heart emojis)…(sic).” Actors Ananya Panday and Huma Qureshi dropped heart emojis, while comedian Bharti Singh wrote, “Wow…congratulations…(sic).”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parineeti had been admitted to the hospital in Delhi for her delivery, with husband Raghav Chadha by her side, a few hours ago. After months of quiet speculation, the ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ actor finally announced the pregnancy with her husband, Raghav Chadha. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram through a touching post featuring a painting of tiny baby feet on a plate, captioned, \u201cOur little universe on its way… Blessed beyond measure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The couple had surprised fans with their engagement on May 13, 2023, in New Delhi, followed by an intimate yet grand wedding in Udaipur on September 24, 2023. The ceremony was attended by close family and a select few from the film and political circuits. Reports suggest the duo had been quietly seeing each other for months before making it official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ (2024), opposite Diljit Dosanjh, who portrayed the titular Punjabi singer. The musical drama explored the tragic love story of Chamkila and his wife, Amarjot Kaur. The cast also included Apinderdeep Singh, Anjum Batra, Nisha Bano, and Kumud Mishra, among others.
