{"id":145021,"date":"2025-11-04T16:29:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T10:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indusvalleytimes.com\/news\/?p=145021"},"modified":"2025-11-04T16:29:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T10:59:23","slug":"tata-steel-announces-the-second-edition-of-joda-run-a-thon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indusvalleytimes.com\/news\/tata-steel-announces-the-second-edition-of-joda-run-a-thon\/","title":{"rendered":"Tata Steel Announces the Second Edition of Joda Run-a-thon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"caps\"><strong>By Rupashree Mohanty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joda, Nov. 4 :<\/strong> Tata Steel has announced the second edition of Joda Run-a-thon.&nbsp; The theme for this year is \u2013 \u201cEvery stride for a greener tomorrow\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organised by Tata Steel\u2019s Ore Mines &amp; Quarries (OMQ) division, the 2025 edition of Joda Run-a-thon will be held on November 23, 2025, in valley town Joda, in the Keonjhar district of Odisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will kick off from Central Playground, Joda on November 23, 6:00 am. It consists of 3 competitive race categories: 10 K and 7 K (Men &amp; Women), 5 K (Boys and Girls) and one non-competitive 2 K (PwDs). With a total prize pool of \u20b95.67 lakh and one sapling to be planted for each runner, the Run-a-thon celebrates the spirit of competition and promotes sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atul Kumar Bhatnagar, General Manager, OMQ, said: &#8220;The Joda Run-a-thon 2025 aims to bring the community together, promoting both fitness and environmental consciousness. I urge all running enthusiasts to participate and make every step count toward a sustainable tomorrow.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Tata Steel, sports is a way of life. Since its inception, the steel major has aimed at creating opportunities for excellence in sports contributing by promoting sports at national and international levels, thereby creating and encouraging a health consious society.
