Paradeep, Dec 29 : ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM\/NS India) observed National Energy Conservation Day at its Pellet Plant Complexwith the inauguration of a modern wheel washing station and a plantation drive within the plant premises. The occasion was highlighted by engaging awareness sessions that inspired employees to use energy wisely and adopt sustainable practices for preserving the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At ParadeepPellet Plant, the programme was graced by Shri Puskar Chandra Behera, Regional Officer, State Pollution Control Board(SPCB), Paradeep as the Chief Guest, along withofficialsof AM\/NS India including Shri USR Raju, Head-Odisha Operations, AM\/NS India, Shri C.H. Hariprasad, Plant Head, Paradeep Pellet Plant,SPL, AM\/NS Ports, Shri Rajarshi Sinha, Head\u2013Captive Power Plant, Paradeep,Shri Debadatta Das, Manager\u2013Environment, Paradeep Pellet Plant. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 200 employees and associates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shri Puskar Chandra Behera said,\u201cConserving energy is a vital responsibility to protect the interests of the future generations.\u201d He further underlined the need to adopt renewable sources of energy to ensure a cleaner and greener environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
