Bhubaneswar,Feb.3 :<\/strong> IIT Bhubaneswar released a study on the transformation journey of Tata Power led Central Odisha Discom\u2019s power distribution reforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study reports that more than \u20b91500crore in strategic capital investment has effectively halved power outages and slashed AT&C losses to 18.94%. Key technological milestones validated include the automation of 250 substations via SCADA and a massive reduction in billing errors, ensuring rural supply is now at par with the national average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conducted by Prof. Chandrashekhar Bhende (Professor), Dr. Chandrasekhar Perumalla (Associate Professor) and Dr. Abhineet Prakash (Assistant Professor) from the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Electrical & Computer Sciences, IIT Bhubaneswar, the study showcases TP Central Odisha Discom as a resilient, climate-ready blueprint for national distribution reforms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
