Balasore, Dec. 9: At least three persons were on Sunday\nmorning killed and 10 others sustained critical injuries after a tourist\nvehicle they were travelling in rammed into a stationary truck near Shergarh\npetrol pump in Odisha\u2019s Balasore district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to reports, nearly 25 people from Balisahi area in\nPuri had booked a light commercial vehicle to visit several tourist places\nincluding Devkund in Mayurbhanj district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tourists had left Puri at around 12:30 AM towards their\ndestination, however, their vehicle rammed into a truck near Shergarh petrol\npump in the early hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the mishap all the injured were rescued and shifted\nto Balasore district headquarters hospital in 108 ambulance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conditions of three persons were stated to be critical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAfter police and fire officials rescued and shifted all the\ninjured to the hospital, we faced much problems as hospital staff did not pay\nadequate attention towards the treatment of the injured,\u201d said an attendant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police reached the spot and further investigation in\nconnection with the road mishap is underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
