Inauguration of Three New Police Facilities in Malkangiri Marks a Milestone for the District’s Security

Malkangiri,27 July 2023 :-In a significant development today, Shri Charan Singh Meena, IPS, DIG of Police SWR, Koraput, inaugurated three new police station buildings in the Malkangiri district of Odisha. The newly established police stations are Papermetla Police Station under Swabhiman Anchal and Orkel Police Station under Balimela, along with the District Intelligence & Operational Centre in Malkangiri.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Nitesh Wadwani, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Malkangiri, and attended by local citizens, representatives, and other esteemed officers. This momentous event is a milestone in addressing the infrastructure deficit in the remote areas like Swabhiman Anchal and the overall district.
The new police station buildings are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the security and law enforcement capabilities of the region.
