New Delhi, April 20: A Hindu minister in Pakistan was attacked in Sindh by protesters opposing the government’s irrigation canal projects in the country’s southern province. The motorcade of state minister for religious affairs, Kheal Das Kohistani, was passing through the province when protesters threw potatoes and tomatoes on it.

Kohistani, a minister in the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led federal government, was unharmed in the attack in Thatta district in Sindh, a province which has a sizeable minority population, particularly Hindus
