TPNODL Hosts Odisha Discom Safety Officers Meet at Balasore

Balasore, Dec.23: TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) successfully organized the Odisha Discom Safety Officers Meet for the third quarter of 2025 in Balasore. The two-day workshop, conducted under the guiding vision of “Zero Harm to Anyone Ever,” reaffirmed the organisation’s unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of safety for employees, the public and animals across its operational areas.
The event was attended by key leaders, including Mr. Gajanan Kale, Chief – Odisha Distribution Business & CEO, TPNODL; Mr. Suresh Kumar Khetwani, Chief – Safety T&D, Tata Power; and Mr. Ranabir Chakraborty, Chief – HR, T&D, Tata Power, alongside senior executives from TPNODL and other Odisha Discoms.
The workshop featured insightful sessions led by industry leaders, emphasizing the collective goal of achieving “Zero Harm” across all operational levels. Participants engaged in team-building and behavioral-based safety activities designed to promote a safety-first mindset and drive organizational transformation.
A total of 87 Safety Officers from TPNODL, TPCODL, TPSODL and TPWODL, along with Safety Heads from all Odisha Discoms, collaborated to brainstorm innovative strategies and outline the safety roadmap for FY 2027 and the upcoming Five-Year Plan.
This meet served as a vital platform for fostering collaboration and advancing safety initiatives across Odisha’s power distribution sector.
