Supriya Nayak Steals the Spotlight in ‘Chakraveer’ Title Track

Bhubaneswar/Odisha, Aug 26 : The title song of the upcoming Odia film Chakraveer, produced under the banner of Surya Film World, was released at a special ceremony held at the Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre in Bhubaneswar.
The song launch ceremony was attended by producer-director and lead actor Suren Mahapatra, noted Odia film producer Sachikant Jena, Atish Rout, Rotarian Bikash Garabadu, K. Badrinarayan Subuddhi, publicity and promotion head Pranaya Jethi, choreographer Bidyut Sethi and actor Mitu Mithun, among others.
The programme began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp before Lord Jagannath, following which the title track was unveiled. Two other songs from the film were also released on the occasion.
Actress Supriya Nayak is the centre of attraction in the title track, which features her dance performance. Created using advanced VFX and graphics technology, the song combines elaborate visuals with choreography by noted choreographer Bidyut Sethi.
S.B. Smruti has composed the music, while Sai Pragya has lent her voice to the song. The lyrics have been penned by Sushant Mani. Sitanshu Mahapatra is the Director of Photography, Sukumar Mani has handled the editing, and Gopinath is responsible for the graphics and VFX.
Produced and directed by Suren Mahapatra, Chakraveer is being made as a trilingual film in Odia, Telugu and Marathi. Mahapatra also plays the lead role in the movie.
Pranaya Jethi is handling the film’s publicity and promotional activities. Speaking to the media, Suren Mahapatra said the film’s content is its main strength and that Chakraveer carries a meaningful social message.
The release of the title track, along with two other songs, has added to the anticipation surrounding Chakraveer, which promises a mix of entertainment, music, dance, advanced visual effects and a socially relevant theme.
