Chitrakonda police bust major Ganja operation, seize 132 bags worth 3 Crore 30 lakhs

Malkangiri Odisha 27 March : In a recent development, the Chitrakonda police have seized a staggering 132 bags of Ganja from a jungle in Dyke-3 under Chitrakonda PS area. The value of the contraband is estimated to be around 3 crore 30 lakhs, according to IIC Mukunda Melka. The police reached the spot following a tip-off, but the culprits managed to escape before they could be apprehended.
The police have launched a hunt to nab the smugglers, and investigations are underway. The seizure of such a large quantity of Ganja is a significant blow to the drug trade in the area, and the police are committed to taking strong action against those involved in the illegal trade.
