Malkangiri, March 20th, 2023 – Malkangiri Police have made a breakthrough in their investigation into the illegal export of ganja, arresting Sarat Chandra Hantal of Markapalli in connection with the case. Hantal was apprehended during Ganja transportation by the police under SDPO Malkangiri at  Markapalli , who acted on a tip-off.

During interrogation, Hantal reportedly claimed that the illegal export of ganja was being carried out with the help of Police Constable Monoj Kumar Muduli. This allegation has raised serious concerns about the involvement of law enforcement officials in the illegal drug trade.

Both Hantal and Muduli have been forwarded to court to face charges in connection with the illegal export of ganja. The Malkangiri police have vowed to continue their efforts to uncover and put an end to illegal drug trafficking in the area.

The arrest of Hantal and the allegations against Muduli have once again highlighted the need for stringent measures to combat the illegal drug trade, which continues to pose a serious threat to public health and safety.
