Prafulla Ghadai turns 83, birthday celebrated at Danagadi

Jajpur, Dec. 5: Senior BJD leader and former Odisha finance minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai’s 83nd birth anniversary was observed at Danagadi in Jajpur district onTuesday.
Besides, the birthday celebrations were organised at many other places like Kaliapani , Kalinganagar and Sukinda.On the occasion a book titled ‘Biswakarma’ was released by Mr Ghadai.
The book chronicled articles by eminent persons on the contributions of Mr Ghadai to Sukinda, Jajpur and Odisha.Fruits and medicines were distributed to patients at various hospitals to mark the occasion. Poor people were given away winter clothes like blankets and sweaters.
“Sukinda is very dear to my heart. I love the people of this area very much. I will work for these people all through my life,” said Mr Ghadai.”Prafulla Ghadai always stood with us. Today, we are happy that he came to us and distributed winter clothes to the poor and fruits to the patients,” Hari Mahant, a local tribal, said .
A mega blood donation camp was organised, which was inaugurated by Ghadei Among others present on the occasion of the birthday celebration include Danagadi block chairperson Archana Das,Sukinda Block chiarman Dibyaranjan baral,Union leader Narayan chandra Dhir,Youth Leader Pradip Kumar Mohanty and Others were Present.
