District-Level Teachers Day 2023 Celebrated with Grandeur in Malkangiri

Malkangiri, 5 September,2023:- District-level Teachers Day 2023 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the local District Culture Building in Malkangari. The event, held under the leadership of District Education Officer Mr. Manas Kumar Jena, was graced by District Collector Sri. Vishal Singh as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony also had the distinguished presence of Mr. Ratnakar Sahu, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer of Zilla Porishad, along with Mr. Trinath Majhi, Additional District Magistrate, and Mr. Prafulla Kumar Bhujabal, District Welfare Officer, who were the guests of honour. The event commenced with the guests offering floral tributes to the revered Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
A total of 21 outstanding teachers from seven different blocks within the district were recognized for their exceptional contributions. They were honored with certificates and a financial reward of Rs. 5000 each.
During their speeches, all the dignitaries paid homage to the memory of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and lauded the pivotal role played by teachers in shaping society. They expressed their hopes for the continuation of this noble tradition.
