Angul, March 28: Sudam Patra: Angul Superintendent Of Police (SP) Sudhansu Sekhar Mishra (IPS) has been nominated to be awarded DGP Disc for his outstanding performance for the year 2022-23.

He will receive the award on the occasion of 88th Police Formation Day on April 1, 2023, marking the state formation day.

Mr Mishra is an Odisha cadre IPS officer.

Prior to his present position, he was posted as SP, Balasore June 2020 to December 2022. During his stint, he contained criminal activities to a great extent and established peace and tranquility in the district.
