TPWODL Sets Up Community Learning Center at Sonepur

Burla, Nov.23 : A significant step to serve as a hub for learning, training, and empowering the local community, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) function of TPWODL has setup a Community Learning Centre (CLC) at Ullunda block of Sonepur district. This initiative is part of TPWODL’s ongoing commitment to empowering local communities and enhancing education, skill development, and overall socio-economic growth in the region.
This learning center was inaugurated on Dt. 22.11.2024. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Ms. Karisma Besra, Block Development Officer (BDO), Mr. Daitari Behera, Sarpanch of the region, and members of Mission Shakti.
During the event, the guests emphasized the vital role of such centers in fostering digital literacy, adult literacy, career guidance for youths, a mini library, information, and access support to government schemes to ensure community growth, which can be a catalyst for positive transformation in the region.
This initiative reflects TPWODL’s dedication to fostering inclusive growth and empowering communities in Western Odisha. By providing opportunities for development, the center aims to drive sustainable progress and improve the quality of life for the local population..
