Gajanan S. Kale appointed as new CEO (Designate) of TPNODL

Balasore, June 9: Shri Gajanan S. Kale has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (Designate) of TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha. With over three decades of experience in the power distribution sector, Mr. Kale has held senior positions in many renowned power distribution companies in the country. He holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from NIT Nagpur and a degree in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. He has 33years of experience in power distribution and management.
Expressing his views, Shri Kale said, “TPNODL is always committed to providing quality and reliable electricity services to the consumers. We will provide quality electricity services to the consumers through modern technology and innovative management methods. Before taking charge as the CEO (Designate) of TPNODL, Shri Kale was serving as the CEO of Delhi Distribution Corporation and ‘TPDDL’ in Delhi. Prior to this, he also served as the Chief Executive Officer of TPADL of Ajmer and TPWODL Odisha.
As per the information, TPNODL provides electricity to about 97lakh people and has more than 2 million consumers. TPNODL distributes electricity to an area of 27,920 square kilometers in Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Jajpur districts.
