ABVP Odisha East State Executive Meeting to be Held in Balasore :Student Union Elections, Education and Social Issues to Be Discussed

Balasore/Odisha, Sep 26 : The State Executive Committee meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Odisha East, will be held at Rajasthan Bhawan in Motiganj, Balasore.
Around 120 key functionaries from across the province will attend the meeting. The participants will include provincial office-bearers, National and State Executive members, Vibhag heads and conveners, district heads and conveners, provincial heads and conveners of different Aayams, activities and initiatives, along with district and Vibhag Chhatri Pramukh.
The meeting will focus on the current educational and social situation in Odisha. Discussions will be held on issues related to education, social concerns, state security, the economy and other contemporary matters, with resolutions to be adopted after deliberation.
A special meeting with well-wishers, former activists and local functionaries will also be organised on September 28, with the participation of local ABVP activists.
The upcoming student union elections in colleges and universities will be one of the major points of discussion. A dedicated session will focus on the problems faced by students across campuses in Odisha and the organisation’s preparations for the elections. Discussions will also be held on strengthening ABVP’s activities on campuses and expanding its work across the state.
The meeting will further review the organisation’s present activities and discuss its plans for future expansion and strengthening at the campus, district and provincial levels.
ABVP Odisha East State Joint Secretary Ujjwal Pradeep Samal, National Executive Members Khirod Panda and Jyotirekha Bhuyan, State Media Co-Convener Ommkar Mohanty, Balasore District Convener Jitam Kumar Das and other functionaries were present at the press conference.
