AIIMS Bhubaneswar Celebrates Hindi Pakhwada with a Plethora of Activities

Bhubaneswar, Oct.6 : AIIMS Bhubaneswar celebrated Hindi Pakhwada 2024 with great enthusiasm from September 14 to September 28, 2024. The two-week celebration saw an array of engaging programmes such as Hindi Essay Writing, Noting and Drafting, Hindi Quiz, Painting Competitions (for children), and Poetry Recitation, marking the importance of the Hindi language.
On this special occasion, the sixth edition of the institute’s magazine Arogya Sudha was also unveiled. Additionally, awards were presented under the “Hindi Promotion Scheme” to recognize and honor outstanding efforts in promoting the use of Hindi. The Medical Superintendent’s Office was awarded the prestigious rolling trophy for excellence in implementing the Official Language Act within the institute.
Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas emphasising the importance of Hindi language, congratulated all for making the Hindi pakhwada a grand success.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Narbedeshwari Deep Bag, Head of the Department of Radio Diagnosis, alongside distinguished guests, including Medical Superintendent Dr. Dilip Kumar Parida and Dean Dr. Satyajit Mishra. Faculty members, senior officials, staff, students, and their families actively participated in the celebrations.
In her address, Chief Guest Dr. Narbedeshwari Deep Bag emphasized the significance of the Hindi language in nation-building and urged officials and staff to carry out more of their daily work in Hindi in compliance with the Official Language Act. She also congratulated all participants and winners, presenting them with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates of appreciation.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Senior Hindi Officer Inderjeet Singh and the organising committee, comprising Vicky Verma, Bikky Kumar Sahu, Gobind Chaudhary, Rohit Singh, ensured the success of the celebrations.
