BJD Embarks on Public Relations March in Malkangiri District to Connect with Grassroots

Malkangiri,02 October 2023:-In an effort to strengthen connection with the people and address grassroots welfare issues, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) organized a public relations march in Malkangiri District. This initiative, led by Malkangiri District BJD President and former MLA Manas Madkami, commenced on Gandhi Jayanti and will conclude on Jayaprakash Narayan’s Jayanti.
Under the guidance of BJD Supreme and Chief Minister Shri. Naveen Patnaik, and with direction from State Organizational Secretary Mr. Pranab Prakash Das, the march was executed under the supervision of Malkangiri District Supervisor Captain Divya Shankar Mishra. The procession began at the Town hall and culminated at the Malkangiri town’s daily market, where participants paid their respects at Mahatma Gandhi’s statue.
The march began with the lighting of garlands and lamps in the photo gallery. Several prominent BJD leaders were in attendance, including SDC Chairman Adma Raba, District Acting President Durga Prasad Tripathi, and other notable figures. The event saw the active participation of various BJD members, including Block Chairpersons, Zone Coordinators, and Zone Presidents, as well as elected representatives from Panchayats and Municipalities.
The Biju Janata Dal’s public relations march aims to bridge the gap between the party and the people, allowing them to better understand and address the welfare concerns of the local population while expanding their social programs. This initiative reflects the party’s commitment to being closer to the community and promoting inclusive development.
