MUMBAI, JUN 17 : Actor Bobby Deol celebrated his parents, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur’s 71st wedding anniversary, with a heart-touching Instagram post sharing a rare glimpse of their joyful moment and enduring love.

Deol kept the caption short, simple and emotional, writing,”Happy Anniversary Maa and Papa”, followed by a string of heart emojis. The post has since gone viral, with fans and fellow celebrities showering the couple with love and blessings.

Dharmendra tied the knot with Prakash Kaur in 1954, at the age of 19, before he became popular in Bollywood. The couple share four children – Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta Deol and Vijeta Deol.

However, he later got married to actor Hema Malini. They first met on the sets of their film ‘Tum Haseen Main Jawaan’. Their pairing was loved by the audience. It is believed that when they decided to get married, Malini’s parents were against it. Despite the difficulties, the couple tied the knot in 1980. Dharmendra has two daughters with Malini – Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.

However, Dharmendra and Kaur never got a divorce. Kaur is known to maintain a simple and private life, and rarely makes public appearances.

Meanwhile, Hema Malini shared pictures of her and Dharmendra on their anniversary last year. On the work front, Dharmendra last appeared in ‘Teri Batoon Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film ‘Ikkis’, starring Agastya Nanda.
