Khurda,Feb 28:- Today, the Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik has taken a groundbreaking step in the field of development of sports and sportspersons. In this context, 42 places like Cricket Stadium, Cricket Academy and Sports Complex have been inaugurated in Odisha.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also inaugurated the mini stadium at khordha BJB High School playground . In this inauguration ceremony, President of Cricket Association and MLA,Begunia Rajendra Kumar Sahu, Collector, Khordha,Chanchal Rana, Chandiprasad Acharya and Assistant Secretary,Kajal Baliarsingh and others were present. In addition, more than 200 sportsmen were present and enjoyed the inauguration ceremony of the Chief Minister through LED. However, Brijesh Pradhan, a senior member of the association said that , a lot of sports equipment such as turf wicket, astroturf, bowling machine are provided in this mini stadium by odisha cricket association.Sportspersons and guests enjoyed a colorful cultural program held at Barbati Stadium, Cuttack, after the inauguration ceremony.
