Giriraj rice mill management exploit poor workers

URDHA, JULY 23 : In mediavail time of 1995 with the areas of 15-17 accors land a purely rice mill was established at banaparia mouza, a kilometre away from sadar ps., Kuruda named Giriraj rice mill founded by brijmohan somani , brought up from Rajasthan. It’s purpose was processing paddy to find out rice.
First 8–10 years it ran well. After that the management has come to it’s original level& tried to exploit it’s staff unit & sellers group, the persons who sells paddy locally.
With strong media attention management has understood it’s mistake & made liasaning with them. But from that period local people aren’t getting to satisfy with the management.
After passed food security Bill, headed by UPA govt.from 2013 , the management has come to its root original level. Be,coz of a circular has passed by central govt that govt has to provide rice among public through FCI.& FCI has collect sufficient rice from different rice mills. So locally it tried to cancel it’s selling process from farmers bu which they are unable to sell their paddy. This mill directly sell its products from out side.
But the root reason is staff & labours are fully exploited by its payment structure.
Both the central & state government has given its payment structure towards public. A circular is also passed that each & every organisation should put the payment hording on its premises which makes to keep on knowledge of its workers group .but management of Giriraj rice mill has beyond of this law. It’s payment system is so less. With the hard labour being 12 hours this institution pay @375/- to mail employee where as @240/- is paid to lady employee.
But in state govt . labour & employment dept.has enlisted its payment structure that discharge the service of 8 hours skilled employees should get @470, @420/- for under skilled employee&where as un skilled employees should get @ 390/-. After providing service more than 13-15 years a operator of this mill named paramananda Behera of khannagar village has told to indus valley times that “we may not come with the scale of skilled class but must be come with the scale of unskilled class . But I m getting@ 375/- payment with pay slip which is very rediculus.
On end of month we only get this little amount by hand. Medi cal facility is so cheap. Only first aid box is avail at mill.
Except this matter this farm never looks its sorrounding. The gas come out from mill is full of carbon dioxide which creates different types problems towards human being.
More than people of 35 revenue villages are making to across this mill & around 15000—20000 people effects by this farm.
When the matter makes to take on the knowledge of resent chief of this management named sanjay somani said now a days people are not getting any job. As we are providing service towards public, it’s so important.
Regarding this matter labour commission of bls Ajay Kumar Pradhan said , if this matter is happening than it is so terrific & I most take action against such types of in human activity.
