Malkangiri Odisha 5 April: In a recent press meet held at the house of MLA Aditya Madhi in Malkangiri district, the Bharatiya Janata Party has accused the ruling Biju Janata Dal of sheltering criminals and promoting violent activities. The BJP party specifically referred to the recent arrest of BJD leader and Samiti Member, Ranjan Pangi, who has been accused of multiple violent and criminal activities.
According to MLA Aditya Madhi, Ranjan Pangi has a history of involvement in Maoist activities, including violence and murder cases. He has been to jail several times and has been released on bail. Recently, Pangi has been involved in a cheating case where he was accused of taking money from people, which led to his arrest.
Sri.Madhi raised questions about how such a criminally-involved person was staying with senior leaders of the BJD and involved in different activities of the party. He warned that if the BJD comes back to power, such activities will only increase, and the public will have to bear the consequences.
The BJP party has promised to make the public aware of such activities and expose the ruling party’s involvement with criminals. The party has also demanded that the BJD party take strict action against its members involved in criminal activities.
The press meet has garnered attention in the district, with many questioning the BJD’s stance on criminal activities and its involvement with such individuals. The BJP party has vowed to bring transparency and accountability to the government if elected to power in the upcoming elections.
