Missing Pihu’s mother meets Jajpur DM

Jajpur,Aug 27 : A year after the high-profile Pihu disappearance case, her whereabouts have not been established as yet. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has recently sought a report from the State DG of Police on the incident.
Meanwhile, Pihu’s mother Monalisa approached the Jajpur District collector on Thursday and asked for permission to present her views to the State Assembly during its upcoming Monsoon Session. She had unsuccessfully tried to raise the issue before the Assembly last year. Monalisa met the district Collector with her complaint. Pihu went missing from her uncle’s house at Madhusudanpur village under the Binjharpur police station on August 8 last year.
