MLA Pranab Das helps Panikoili residents’ dream come true; trauma care centre to be set up with Rs 70 crore

Jajpur, OCT. 14: The dream of people of Panikoili in Jajpur to have a trauma care centre in their area has come true. State health and family welfare department has sanctioned Rs 70 crore (Rs 69.95 crore) for the project.
Jaipur MLA Pranab Prakash Das had assured the people for setting up the trauma care centre at Panikoili.
Cuttack division superintending engineer Taraprasad Mishra who was previously executive engineer of public works department has his role in facilitation of the project.
The lawmaker Mr Das in consultation with Mr Mishra had prepared the trauma care proposal submitted to the state government.
The proposed trauma care will have 100 beds.
To be located on the National Highway 16, the proposed facility will help save lives of accident victims and critical patients.
