Paradip, Oct. 1: As per clarion call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Paradip Port Authority along with Paradeep Municipality, Paradip Sakharata Samiti, local school students and denizens of the township on Sunday conducted a one-hour long Shramdaan for cleanliness drive at the Bank Street and Creek side near Mausima temple.

Gracing the occasion as chief guest Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA flagged off a Swachhata Rath in presence of Shri Basant Kumar Biswal, Chairman, Paradeep Municipality and other HoDs and senior officials of PPA.

Commenting about the Swachhata drive Shri Haranadh commented that Cleanliness is not just a transient allegiance, but it is a way of life for realising a dream of clean and green society. Similarly, CISF Unit of PPA conducted plogging activity at the Paradip Beach.
