Upon her arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport, the President proceeded to Niladrivihar, where she unveiled a statue of Pandit Raghunath Murmu, the visionary behind the Santhali script and a prominent figure in tribal culture.

On Wednesday, President Murmu is set to visit the iconic Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri to offer prayers before attending the 75th anniversary celebrations of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. Later in the day, she will participate in the Navy Day celebrations at Puri’s Blue Flag Beach, which will feature an operational demonstration by the Indian Navy.

Thursday’s schedule includes presiding over the 40th convocation of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar. The President will also inaugurate a newly constructed judicial court complex in the city.

Continuing her tour, President Murmu will visit Uparbeda School, where she will interact with students and local villagers. She is also scheduled to meet with the faculty and students of Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Rairangpur, her hometown.

On Saturday, the President will turn her attention to key infrastructure projects, laying foundation stones and inaugurating multiple initiatives. Among the highlights are the Bangiriposi-Gorumahisani, Buramara-Chakulia, and Badampahar-Kendujhargarh rail lines, along with the Tribal Research and Development Centre, the Dandbose Airport, and a sub-divisional hospital (SDH) in Rairangpur.

President Murmu’s visit underscores a strong commitment to promoting cultural heritage, advancing education, and fostering infrastructure development in Odisha, particularly in tribal and rural regions. The launch of vital rail and healthcare projects is anticipated to enhance connectivity and improve the quality of life for communities in underserved areas.
