This quote of Rumi unerringly reflects in one of the most vibrant personalities of south Odisha , Er. Siddharth Sankar Behera who has created a remarkable place in the field of education at an early age with his passion and hard work. He is unluckily laten to the people of Odisha because of his down to earth nature and ditherence to be praised by people. Having profuse knowledge and specialization in Robotic Science he had got striking job opportunities in India’s top ranked companies. But in 2012 this young man having qualified in Btech electronic and communication engineering from ITER , SOA University followed the footstep of his father Mr. Sanat Kumar Behera and with a determined mindset joined the Gyan Vikash Group Of Institutions as an Academic Director. The strength of the organization was below 500 then. But his fathomless sleepless nights, backbreaking work and tremendous toil reached the organization at its apex with 5000 students strength now in 2023. This institution runs from lkg to XII ( CBSE) and I to XII ( HSC/CHSE) at Govindpur ,on the outskirt of Berhampur and at Hilpatna , amidst Berhampur town with an eye catching infrastructure. Welfare of teachers and students are his only moto. His sacrifices cant be expressed in words. He never looked back to his highly embellished resume and worked on it. He left his own dream far behind and embraced his father’s wish which has eventually been the only moto of his life. His Innovative and creative ideas brought reformation and change in education system of the institution and result of class X and XII drastically. Eventually the school topped the state in CHSE XII board exam and district in CBSE XII board. In addition to this , the school produced plethora of IIT and NEET achievers who are at present in India’s most pompous IIT campuses and Medical colleges.
He does not believe in traditional methods and techniques to be used in education. He implemented the most effective study ambience for students where they can’t feel the pressure of board and get themselves liberated from stress and anxiety. Being an Academic Director, he is not confined to his assigned duties only . He is well connected and reachable to each student and faculty. Not only deals with the academic issues but also handles each personal problems of everyone including ground level workers so effectively with intense patience. He is never found talking in an authoritarian tone with any of his employees as he says it’s a team work and everybody has their own style of working. He never crosses the comfort zone of anybody and interferes in their working areas. He considers a happy mind only can produce productive result. His infectious smile and extended heart wins everybody’s attention.
He never competes with others but he prefers to compete with himself. This attitude of him made the professional place, a second home to his staff. Though pandemic seized sprang of activities, he never moved back. By developing influential apps and inventive steps he continued the process of online teaching by spreading positive energy amongst teachers and students. Lying on the hospital bed being a corona affected person , he used to share strength and good vibes to all of the institutions. That enchanted a vast multitude.
He is one of the remarkable sensations in the field of education, a young and dynamic educationists and a true inspirations for students . His resoluteness will leave an indelible imprint in the history of Gyan Vikash for years.
