Bhubaneswar, Jan. 27 : DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar observed the 75th Republic Day with pomp and grandeur. In the formal meeting organised to mark the occasion, Principal Sri Balaram Mahapatra rendered the official welcome address and inspired the students to take part in nation building while upholding the dignity and rich tradition of the country. Chairman Sj Madan Mohan Panda hoisted the national flag and advised the students to devote themselves to the service and development of the motherland and to materialise the dreams of the freedom fighters by giving precedence to the country’s interest.

During his interaction, he encouraged the teachers and urged them to do their best in order to excel in all fields of academic excellence. On this occasion, a chorus portraying the valour and patriotism of our great freedom fighters was staged by the students Similarly, the students of Std.-I and II presented a beautiful display of different  aerobic postures in a rhythmical manner.

The chairman encouraged the students by giving away the prizes and certificates to the winners of different intramural competitions The entire programme was smoothly conducted under the supervision and coordination of all the staff members.
