Rotary Club of Temple City organises Plantation Drive and Blood Donation Camp

Bhubaneswar : Rotary Club of Temple City organised a planation drive at the premises of Biju Patnaik International Airport Bhubaneswar on 23rd September 2021 in presence of Rtn. Dr Pravat Ranjan Beuria, Director of Biju Patnaik International Airport. More than 100 saplings of fruit bearing plants were planted in the programme, led by Rtn. Prashant Kumar Hota, President of the Club and JSPL’s Group CSR Head.
Club’s Secretary and Head of Central Horticultural Experiment Station, Bhubaneswar Rtn. Dr. Govind Chandra Acharya, Past President and Treasurer Rtn. S.P. Patnaik, Past President and Vice Chancellor of SoA Deemed University Rtn. Dr. Ashoka Kumar Mohapatra, Past President and Former Engineer in Chief (Works) of Odisha Rtn. D.N. Pal, IPP Rtn. Manas Kumar Panda and Rtn. PP Rtn. R.C. Mohanty joined the plnation programme. The drive will continue in other parts of the city, informed the Club’s President Rtn. Hota.
Rotary Club of Temple City also organised a Blood Donation Camp on 21st September 2021, in association with the Blood Bank of IMS and SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar. The Camp was held under the leadership of the Club’s Past President and Vice Chancellor of SoA Deemed University Rtn. Dr. Ashoka Kumar Mohapatra, Past President and Treasurer Rtn. S.P. Patnaik, and Secretary Rtn. Dr. Govind Chandra Acharya. Aashraa Foundation, a local NGO supported the club in organising the Camp.
