JAJPUR,NOV 12: The Jajpur district, which was in the focus of the legendry Biju Patnaik in the 1980s, is now on the path of development. Bijubabu’s dream is being realised by his son, Odisha’ popular Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Under the leadership of Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das, various developmental programmes are in full swing in the district.Whether it is the beautification of Jajpur , the Ring Road or Kusuma Dashwasmedghat, the mini stadium, the new bus stand, the river embankment scheme all have seen light of the day due to the young MLAs efforts. Besides he has undertaken many social activities like blood donation camp, plantation of trees and various welfare progammes for the poor people of the district. The people of the entire district have thanked the Chief Minister and MLA for the Cabinet approval of a medical college in the district, which was a long standing demand. Last Wednesday, Das discussed with the Works Department Cuttack Circle Superintendent Engineer Taraprasad Mishra about the progress of various infrastructure projects in the district.
