Malkangiri,Spetember 16,2023:-In a heartfelt gesture of reverence to the nation’s brave heroes, State BJP President Manmohan Samal visited Malkangiri district on Saturday. During his visit, he collected soil from the foothills of Shaheed Jawans in Govindpalli and Balimela . Mr. Samal’s visit was marked by a series of activities aimed at honoring the sacrifices of these immortal heroes and motivating party workers for the upcoming elections.

The visit also aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide call to join the “Mo Mati Mo Desh Abhiyan” to pay homage to the valiant soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. As part of this initiative, individuals are encouraged to collect soil from the places where Shaheed Jawans laid down their lives.

State President Manmohan Samal, during his visit, expressed his thoughts on this initiative, stating, “In order to preserve the memory of the Jawans who are fighting for the integrity of the country, Modiji has called for ‘soil collection’ as a tribute to these heroes. This soil will be sent to Delhi, where it will serve as a significant component of a grand memorial for our Shaheed Jawans. This memorial will stand as a lasting tribute to the brave souls who made the supreme sacrifice for the motherland.”

During his visit to Malkangiri district, Mr. Samal also visited the homes of Shaheed Sunil Kumar Raul and Shaheed Shivabrat Das in Balimela and Govindpalli, respectively, to collect soil from their surroundings. This act was carried out not only to honor the memory of these Jawans but also to strengthen the morale of their grieving families.

The visit was attended by several prominent BJP leaders and workers, including State Vice President Biranchi Narayan Tripathi, Malkangiri MLA Aditya Madhi, Balimela NAC Chairman Pradeep Kumar Naik, State Editor Saroj Kara, BJP Scheduled Tribes Morcha National General Editor Kaliram Majhi, Former MP Balabhadra Majhi, Malkangiri District President Nimai Chandra Pal, Former District President Gurucharan Mohanty, and Ashok Parida and BJP members, participated in the event.

Manmohan Samal’s visit to Malkangiri district not only symbolized a tribute to the Shaheed Jawans but also highlighted the BJP’s commitment to preserving the memory of these heroes and galvanizing party workers for future endeavors, particularly the upcoming elections.
