Malkangiri, Odisha: In a recent press conference, Malkangiri Collector Ashish Iswar Patil announced that the Subhadra Yojana, a significant social welfare scheme in Odisha, is now accepting applications. A key point to note is that linking your mobile number to your Aadhaar is no longer a prerequisite for applying. Aadhaar authentication can be easily done through face or fingerprint scanning.
Patil further clarified that there is no fixed deadline for submitting applications, allowing beneficiaries ample time to complete the process. Women aged 21 to 60 are eligible to apply for the Subhadra Yojana, and the application forms are available free of charge at all Anganwadi centers and service centers.
To ensure seamless application, it is essential to have a bank account linked to your Aadhaar. The district administration has organized special camps in each block and urban area to facilitate Aadhaar revisions and address any related issues. Special provisions have also been made for Bonda and related tribal women in the district.
To raise awareness about the Subhadra Yojana, the district will launch the Subhadra Rath on September 7. The initiative aims to distribute over 3 lakh forms across the district. Once the application process is complete and block-level verification is done, eligible beneficiaries will receive the benefits of the scheme.
