Tishya Panigrahi of Odisha becomes youngest of scuba diver to make 40-ft diving

Sambalpur, Oct. 12: Tishya Panigrahi, a 10-year-old girl hailing from Odisha’s Sambalpur, has earned laurels for the state by successfully making a 40-feet scuba diving in Oman. She accomplished the feat without anyone’s assistance.
Daughter of Priyadarshi Panigrahi and granddaughter of former Lok Sabha member Sriballav Panigrahi, Tishya is presently stay in Dubai. A student of Raphael’s Academy, she had previously accomplished 30-ft diving with the help of trainers.
Trained by Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Tishya has become the youngest ever scuba diver to 40-ft diving without trainers.
She has also been awarded certificate by the US PADI unit for Junior Open Water Scuba Diving.
After the news broke about the Tishya’s success, congratulatory messages poured in for her from various parts of the country and abroad.
