Tata Steel Kalinganagar & NINL Celebrates 80th Independence Day

Kalinganagar, Aug. 16 : Tata Steel Kalinganagar (TSK) and Neelachal Ispat Nigam (NINL) observed 80th Independence Day with a lot of fervour inside their plant premises under Danagadi block of Jajpur district on Saturday.
Uttam Singh, Vice President, Operations, Tata Steel Kalinganagar hoisted the National Flag in the presence of senior officials of TSK & Tata Steel Kalinganagar Workers’ Union, and members from the community.
During the celebration, the dignitaries were spell-bound with the parade and drill showcased by the Security team. The ceremony concluded with the felicitation of the security and fire safety personnel for their exemplary performance. As part of the celebrations, a blood donation camp was also organised the previous day by the Joint Development Council, Cold Rolling Mill, TSK at Plot 2 Auditorium where more than 211 persons including employees, their families members and contract workers enthusiastically donated blood.
At NINL, the flag was hoisted by Padmapal, MD & CEO, NINL in the presence of other senior officials of NINL.
A similar flag hoisting ceremony was also organised at Ferro Alloys Plant (FAP) Bamnipal where the flag was hoisted by Adarsh Agrawal, Head FAP, Bamnipal.
