Utkal Hospital Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Great Enthusiasm

Bhubaneswar, Aug. 15 :Utkal Hospital, one of Odisha’s leading multi-speciality healthcare institutions located at Niladri Vihar, Bhubaneswar, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
On the occasion, Dr. Pragyan Ranjan Ghadei, Managing Director of Utkal Hospital, attended the programme as the Chief Guest and unfurled the National Flag. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem by the hospital staff. The security personnel of the hospital also paid their respects to the National Flag.
The programme was attended by Sri B.K. Subodh Singh, CEO; Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Das, Dean – Academics; Dr. Biswajit Nanda, Vice President; Sri Biswajit Das, Chief Security Officer; Ms. Snigdha Samal, Deputy Manager – Human Resources ; Sri Soumendra Gain, Senior Manager – IT, along with doctors, nurses, security personnel, paramedical staff from various departments and attendants of patients.
On the occasion, the dignitaries remembered the great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during India’s struggle for independence. They paid tribute to their sacrifice, dedication and patriotism, which enabled India to attain freedom from British rule and emerge as an independent nation. Remembering their contribution, everyone was urged to work with sincerity and dedication in their respective fields for the unity, integrity and progress of the country.
On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Dr. Aditya Samal, Chairman of Utkal Hospital; Dr. Kalyan Rath, Founder Director; and
Dr. Arun Mohanty,founder Director conveyed their warm greetings and best wishes to everyone from the United States.
Similarly, Sri Shailendra Kumar Panda, Director; Sri Subrat Kumar Das; , Director Sri Arun Kumar Khilar, CFO; and Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Director – Medical Services, also extended their Independence Day greetings and best wishes to everyone.
As part of the celebration, sweets were distributed among the staff and attendees on the hospital premises.
