INDIA alliance gets a new tagline – Jeetega Bharat
New Delhi,July 19 : A day after Opposition announced ‘INDIA’ as the name of their alliance, they chose ‘Jeetega Bharat’ as the tagline of the coalition that aims to defeat the BJP in the 2024 general election.
The final decision on Jeetega Bharat (India will win) was taken after deliberations late last night. The tagline is likely to be replicated in several regional languages, PTI reported.
When leaders of 26 Opposition parties named the alliance I.N.D.I.A – Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance – during the two-day Bengaluru conclave on Tuesday, they felt that the word “Bharat” should feature in the name of the alliance.
Later, it was decided that it would feature in the tagline. Several leaders stressed that the coinage of the Jeetega Bharat tagline was a result of a joint effort by several leaders.

Announcing the name of the Opposition front, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said the 2024 election will be a fight against the ideology of the BJP and their thinking.
“The fight is between NDA and INDIA, Narendra Modi and INDIA, his ideology and INDIA. India always wins all fights,” he said.
As the Opposition threw a challenge to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will seek a third term next year, hit back. PM Modi said in NDA, ‘N’ means New India, ‘D’ means Developed Nation, ‘A’ means Aspirations of people and regions.
He also referred to the Opposition conclave as a meeting of corrupts with the mantra: of, by and for the family.
