Malkangiri, 14.01.2024 – The retired Government Employees Association at Malkangiri District Hqrs. warmly felicitated Satbir Singh Riar, who has been appointed as the Manager of the Indian Cricket Team for the South African tour. Led by the association’s president, Balaraju Padhi, the event celebrated Singh’s achievement. Upon the successful return from the South African tour, where India made history by winning the test match, Singh was welcomed back to Malkangiri.

The reception, held at the association’s office, saw the presence of Secretary Ashok Ku.Samal and convenor Prakash Chandra Patnaik. Jayadev Raul expressed gratitude to Singh for his significant contribution to the team’s success, bringing pride to Malkangiri. The felicitation highlighted Singh’s role in steering the Indian Cricket Team to victory, marking a historic moment in the test match against South Africa.
