Nabarangpur, Jan 6: Vigilance sleuths on Friday raided the residence of Jagdish Behera, Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI) of Sanamasigano circle under Nabarangpur tehsil, in a disproportionate assets (DA) case.

The raids followed after he was caught accepting bribe Rs 5,000 from complainant in order to furnish enquiry report to tehsildar for issuance of a legal heir certificate.

The entire bribe money was recovered from the ARI.

In this connection, a case has been registered against Behera.
